MEET DEE THE FOUNDER
I started The Middleman after seeing my neighbors', friends', and my own packages repeatedly stolen or missing even when left in mailrooms. Having a package you were so looking forward to receiving stolen is a horrible feeling and that experience inspired me to create The Middleman Package Club. A secure neighborhood alternative for people who don't have a doorman or reliable package room. If you won't be home when your package arrives, or your building has no secure place to store it, you can simply send it to The Middleman. We'll keep a close eye on it for you and you can pick it up whenever you're ready. This is also a one stop shop to send your packages through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Amazon. What is The Middleman?
Which carriers do you accept?
A secure neighborhood package-receiving and sending service that accepts deliveries on behalf of customers and holds them securely until pickup.
We will accept deliveries from major carriers including UPS, FedEx, Amazon, DHL, local carriers and others. Additional carriers may be added.
Members may also send packages through these carriers via The Middleman.
Will you accept USPS packages?
How will I know when it arrives?
Sending and Receivng USPS mail and packages are not available at this time. We will not have mailboxes to offer.
Customers will receive an automatic notification after the package has been checked into The Middleman's system.
How long can you hold my package?
Are there size or value limits?
Pay-per-package get 5 days of included storage. Premium and VIP get 7 days. After the incuded storage, a daily fee of $2/$3 is applied.
Yes. Packages over 50lbs, prohibited-items, Large furniture/appliances, and maximum-value over $2500. Other policies will be announced before opening.
